I started playing softball back in 2010 at the age of 8 and did not start pitching until the age of 9. I did not start private lessons until the age of 10 but since then I have stuck with the same instructor all these years. Over the years I have seen other pitchers and their parents complain on how private lessons cost way too much and how most of the time the instructors don't even give you your money's worth of a lesson.

As I attend an International Baccalaureate school it is mandatory for me to create a project which we call our "personal project" in order to complete my middle years program. Each student gets to choose any topic they wish to research and they must find a way to present their knowledge using creativity. Upon thinking of an idea for my project I thought about the one thing I have been doing for more than half my life, softball. I decided to narrow down my idea to softball pitching specifically, and that is how I got here, with this website, a free resource for beginning pitchers. I really hope you enjoy this website as it took a lot of hard work to create it.
